On the way to Manihar ka Rasta, waste removed after cleaning of drains was found dumped near the road and the secretary scolded officials over the delay in cleaning. Sharma also found sanitation workers working at most of the places in all the zones along with monitoring being done.
On Mount Road, there was a lack of cleanliness at many places with open garbage depots at many areas, to this, the secretary was angry and demanded reasons for the delay in clearing the waste. He inspected the Indira Rasoi at Jal mahal and after talking to the staff, he praised them on the preparation of food and cleanliness.
He operated the plastic bottle shredder machine installed outside Indira Rasoi. Sharma instructed concerned executive engineers that wherever there is a problem of water logging on the side of the roads or at any crossroads, they should be connected to the sewer line.
