Swami Vivekananda’s wax figure unveiled at the Jaipur Wax Museum
Wax figure weight is around 35 kgm and it took 4 months to make the statue by sculptor Susanta Ray. Anoop Srivastava, founder director of the museum said, “Vivekananda was more than just a spiritual mind, he was a prolific thinker, great orator and passionate patriot. His message of universal brotherhood and self awakening remains relevant especially in the current backdrop of widespread political turmoil around the world. His teachings and philosophy still remain relevant. Today’s youth is very confused, unballanced, over ambitious and Vivekanand’s philosphy is very inspiring for the current generation. His words have become goals of self improvement for the youth of the country.” The museum showcases wax and silicon statues of the world renowned personalities from history, cinema, sports celebrities, literature, art & culture and royal grandeur under one roof, Each exhibit is complete with a detailed backdrop or intricately designed sets.
