Three Shooters Surrender In Jaghina Murder Case | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Three absconding shooters wanted in the murder of gangster Kuldeep Jaghina surrendered themselves before the Bharatpur police. SP (Bharatpur) Mridul Kachawa said that all three suspects- Devendra Pathera, Pankaj, and Lokendra Gurjar were wanted in the Jhagina murder case.
Police had issued a reward of Rs 50,000 each on the information leading to their capture. “The accused surrendered themselves before the Deeg police station of the district,” he said.
Kachawa said that different police teams were conducting round-the-clock searches across over a dozen cities in pursuit of the accused, making it difficult for them to evade the police for a long time.
Police said that they were also examining the reasons why the accused suddenly surrendered themselves before the police. The three suspects were part of a group of armed assailants who stormed into a roadways bus on July 12, sprayed chili powder on seven police officers and shot dead Jhagina.
The attack occurred when the bus stopped at Amoli toll plaza in the afternoon. Police officers intensified their efforts by raiding the hideouts of the suspects and their supporters, which put pressure on the accused. As a result, the accused were compelled to continuously shift from place to place to evade capture. Their movements were found in various locations, including Uttar Pradesh, Gurgaon, and Agra. TNN
