Three Teens Drown In Rainfed River | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Three cousins including two girls, who had gone to take bath in a johad (rainfed river) at Kalyanpura Purohitan village under Sardarshahar police station area of Churu, drowned on Sunday evening.
All of them were aged between 12 and 13 years. According to police, the incident took place when Hari Bhagat (13), Naani (12) and Aarzo (12) had gone to take a bath in a rainfed river known as johad in this region.
“Some of the villagers spotted them and informed about it to the police control room. A team of police with divers rushed to the spot and brought them out of the river. They were rushed to a hospital where they were declared brought dead,” said a police officer. TNN
