Trailer: 3 Killed, 24 Hurt In Bus-truck Collision | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Three persons, including the bus driver, were killed in an accident on Tuesday night when a bus collided with a stationary trailer on NH-21 in Bharatpur district.
The victims have been identified as Kamlesh (bus driver), aged 40, the helper Vijendra Singh (40), and Bunty (22). Two seriously injured persons were subsequently referred to Jaipur for treatment. In total, 24 people sustained injuries in the accident.
The accident occurred when a trailer carrying stones broke down while travelling on the Jaipur-Agra National Highway near Barso village around 2am. The driver had parked the trailer on the side of the highway. Subsequently, a sleeper coach bus en route from Jhunjhunu to Gwalior collided with the stationary trailer due to poor visibility caused by darkness.
A police team reached the spot and rescued the injured passengers and transported them to a hospital for treatment.
Chiksana police SHO Vinod Meena said, “The bodies were handed over to the respective families after the post-mortem. Police will register a case after receiving complaints from the victims’ family members.”

School bus collides with dumper, none seriously hurt
Students of BRL DAV in Bokaro were injured when their school bus collided with a dumper on the Hirak Main Road. A girl sustained minor injuries, but no one needed hospitalization.
