Vande Bharat: Pm To Flag Off State’s Third Vande Bharat Train Sunday |
Jaipur/Ajmer: Rajasthan will get its third Vande Bharat Express train on Sunday as Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually flag off the train on Udaipur-Jaipur route, said officials from north western railway (NWR).
A trial run for the Udaipur-Jaipur route will be done on Friday and the train will reach Jaipur station at 1pm.
Officials said that Udaipur MP Arjun Lal Meena and public representatives will be present at the ceremony which will be held in Udaipur for the inauguration. The train will cover a distance of over 450 km in six hours.
“With the operation of the new Vande Bharat train, travel will be easier to the Shrinathji temple in Nathdwara and tourist places like Khamlighat and Gauramghat.
The textile industry of Bhilwara and the marble industry of Kishangarh will also benefit. Pilgrims to Tirtharaj Pushkar and the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer will also find the train convenient.
This train will provide better and faster rail transport to passengers travelling for business, tourism, education and medical purposes and will create new employment opportunities,” said Shashi Kiran, chief public relations officer of North Western Railway. TNN
