Jaipur: The inaugural edition of Rajasthan Premier League (RPL) has been postponed, sources at the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) informed. The league was earlier scheduled to begin on August 19. An official statement on the same is likely to be shared by RCA after a meeting on August 16. “The RPL will now begin on August 25 or 27. On Wednesday we will finalise the new dates. Need to delay the start arose because of telecast issues, and with Independence Day around the corner, the stadium can’t be accessed and that’s why a lot of work remains unfinished,” a source said. tnn
