Voting: Pali Plans To Bring Migrant Workers To Boost Voting | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Pali district administration has launched ‘Mission 75’ campaign to increase the voting percentage of migrants settled in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
In the last assembly polls, Pali recorded the minimum polling percentage of 65% in the state. The election commission has zeroed in on districts which have a poor track record of polling and asked them to take measures to increase it.
The administration in Pali in association with the state election office has made a slew of efforts to take the voting percentage above 75%. A sizeable population of Pali district, especially in the age group of 20-50, works as labourers in other states. “Labour organizations have been asked to form a WhatsApp group and motivate workers to come to vote,” said ADM Pali Sohan Bhati.
