JAIPUR: A verbal spat with his wife led a man to hack her and their teenage son to death before himself attempting suicide at Padampur town in Sriganganagar district on Sunday morning.
Police said Jaspal Singh, 44, attacked his wife, Rupinder Kaur, 40, and their son, Harmeet, 14, with an axe, causing their death. He then consumed an insecticide and is under treatment at a hospital in police custody. The twin murders and suicide bid sparked panic in the area.
