World Cup: ‘education A Major Tool To Eradicate Child Marriages’ | Jaipur News

Jaipur: While cases of child marriages are decreasing, it is the collective responsibility of society to eliminate this evil altogether, said Panchayati Raj department secretary Ravi Jain on Friday.
Speaking at a state consultation on ‘ending child marriage in India by 2030’ organised here by Bachpan Bachao Andolan (BBA) in collaboration with the Panchayati Raj department, Jain emphasised that education is a major tool that can help eradicate child marriages completely. BBA is an organisation founded by Nobel laureate Kailash Satyarthi. Jain also said religious leaders can play a vital role in this due to the high influence they have on society and help Rajasthan achieve the target of making itself free from child marriages by 2030.
