Jaipur: The National Integration Tour under Operation Sadbhavana which is currently underway from September 21 to October 5 has arrived in Jaipur for a brief stopover on September 29 and 30.
This group of 25 students hailing from Zanskar Valley in Ladakh, comprises 13 girls, 12 boys along with teaching staff and a team of Indian Army personnel. The tour commenced its journey from Zanskar Valley and reached Jaipur via Chandigarh and Delhi.
During the visit to Jaipur, the students interacted with lieutenant general BS Raju, army commander Sapta Shakti Command who spoke about the essence of national integration, nation building, high values and the highs of career in the Armed Forces. While visiting the city, the students explored historical heritage sites like Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar.

The tour included visits to heritage sites, trying local cuisine, exploring architecture, and visiting the Govind Dev Ji temple and local markets. The event aimed to promote art, culture, and heritage in the city. The group, consisting of members from various backgrounds, enjoyed the ride and plans to continue organizing similar activities to rejuvenate sustainable tourism in Rajasthan.
