World Cup: Timings Of 198 Trains In Nwr To Change From Oct 1 | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Timings of around 198 trains in the north western railway (NWR) will change from October 1 as the railway administration is implementing a new time table. Officials said that by increasing the average speed of 198 trains in NWR, time will be saved by up to 65 minutes.
Captain Shashi Kiran, chief public relations officer of NWR said, “There has been partial change in the arrival/departure timing of trains at various stations as per the new timetable effective from October 1. Passengers are requested to check the train timings through SMS service 139 or on the website www.indianrail.gov.in or www.trainenquiry.com.” TNN

Special trains will also be run during the Ganpati festival to accommodate the increased passenger rush.
Railways cancels 18 trains till Oct 17
The East Central Railway (ECR) has cancelled 18 mail/express trains due to ongoing maintenance work in the Chakradharpur division of the South Eastern Railway (SER). The cancellation is part of the railway’s efforts to improve track safety. The cancelled trains include the Rajendra Nagar Terminal-Durg South Bihar Express, Bilaspur-Patna Express, Hyderabad-Raxaul Express, Secunderabad-Darbhanga Express, Surat-Malda Town Express, Sambalpur-Varanasi Express, Sambalpur-Jammu Tawi Express, Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar Express, Vasco de Gama-Jasidih Express, Jayanagar-Rourkela Express, Jammu Tawi-Sambalpur Express, and Asansol-Varanasi Express.
