Youth Hangs Self After Being Caught With Minor Girl In Kota | Jaipur News
The incident occurred at Notara village under Sultanpur police station of late on Wednesday night. The deceased, Lokesh Prajapati, took the drastic step allegedly minutes after the kin of the minor girl and several villagers assembled outside his house and wanted him to come out.

The youth’s body was handed over to his family after an autopsy on Thursday. A suicide note recovered from his pocket said the girl’s family members would not let him marry her and that he loved her so much that he could not live without her, said Sultanpur police station SHO Sandeep Vishnoi.
“According to the minor girl’s family, who also live in Notara village, she had gone missing on Tuesday night. Her family members lodged a missing report under Section 363 on Wednesday morning and a search operation was launched. But she herself returned home on Wednesday evening,” said Vishnoi.
According to preliminary investigations, one of the villagers had spotted the girl coming out of Lokesh Prajapati’s house on Wednesday evening and reported it to her family members, following which they had gathered outside his house. Police produced the girl before the child welfare committee (CWC) and, as per its order, sent her to a women’s shelter home on Thursday evening. “The girl’s statements would be recorded before a magistrate under Section 164 of CrPC and further proceedings in the case would be decided accordingly,” said Vishnoi.
