62.3 Lakh Pre-matric Sc Students In Raj Receive Central Assistance Of ₹233 Each | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Under the pre-matric scholarship scheme for scheduled caste (SC) students, the Centre has released Rs 138.98 crore for the state of Rajasthan from 2018-19 to 2021-22, according to a ministry of social justice and empowerment data.
According to UDISE 2021-22 report, there are 62.30 lakh SC students studying in pre-matric classes (I-X) in Rajasthan, which means as a part of the central assistance released during the period (2018-19 to 2021-22), an average of Rs 233 was meant for each student.
A ministry of social justice and empowerment reply given in the Rajya Sabha stated that a central assistance of Rs 30.75 crore was released to Rajasthan in 2018-19, Rs 33.23 crore in 2019-20, Rs 38.27 crore in 2020-21 and Rs 36.73 crore in 2021-22.
