Abhimanyu Poonia: Abhimanyu Poonia – Youth Congress State President in Jaipur | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Sangaria MLA Abhimanyu Poonia was appointed the president of the Youth Congress in the state on Saturday. Abhimanyu won the Sangaria assembly seat in Hanumangarh district with a margin of 42,010 votes in the recently concluded assembly polls. He defeated BJP’s Gurdeep Singh.
Youth Congress national president Srinivas B V also appointed Sudhinder Moond and Yashveer Shoora as working presidents.
The appointment letter said the “Indian Youth Congress is confident that they will devote their full time and energy to further strengthen the organisation as well as the Congress party under the able and dynamic leadership of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.”
Poonia who is said to be a staunch supporter of CWC member Sachin Pilot thanked the national leadership for his appointment. His supporters also took to social media to congratulate him. tnn

Congress contested 13 seats in the last elections, while Left Front fielded candidates in 47. Roy Barman wishes CPM to support Congress to defeat BJP in the state.
