Anand Mahindra showers love on Ghoomer trailer, Abhishek Bachchan is overwhelmed: see inside | Hindi Movie News

Billionaire businessman Anand Mahindra, who is quite active on social media, recently showered praised on R.Balki’s Ghoomer, starring Abhishek Bachchan and Saiyami Kher in lead roles. Taking to his Twitter handle, he wrote, “Balki’s back. With what promises to take our obsession with cricket to a new level. But the real promise of this film is a tour de force by @juniorbachchan In the past few years he’s been living up to his potential of being one of our most intense actors (sic).”
Abhishek Bachchan, overwhelmed with the praise wrote back, “My dearest @anandmahindra I’m speechless, so, I’ll type! Your support,encouragement and guidance has always meant the world to me (you know that).Thank you! Can’t wait to show you the film. My eternal respect, admiration and love to you (sic).”

While on Ghoomer, Abhishek says he is happy to bring the movie to cinemas as nothing beats the experience of watching it in a dark theatre. Abhishek’s last few films like “Ludo”, “The Big Bull” and “Dasvi” released on digital platforms during the pandemic.
“I’m very happy and proud of the film. I’m excited to bring the film to the audiences. Due to the pandemic, a lot of us couldn’t show our film to our audiences in the theaters, a lot of us gravitated toward digital, which is a wonderful medium. But coming into a dark theatre, with samosa, cold drink, popcorn, and you see a good film – nothing beats that experience,” he told reporters at the trailer launch of the movie.
The actor plays the coach to Saiyami Kher, who loses her hand in an accident but decides to continue playing cricket. Also starring Shabana Azmi, the film releases on August 18.
