Enforcement Directorate: Ec Directs Agencies To Keep Check On Illegal Transactions | Jaipur News

Jaipur: In view of the upcoming assembly elections in Rajasthan, the chief electoral officer of Rajasthan Praveen Gupta has issued directions to income tax, enforcement directorate (ED) and police department to act against illegal transactions of gold, silver, money, expensive items, use of black money, illegal money transfer and transfer of property in the state.
All the agencies have appointed nodal officers to monitor such activities in the districts and at the state level. The political parties will also be asked to refrain from indulging in such activities.
“Preparations are being made by the election department for the smooth conduct of elections through various training programmes. In this sequence, a four-day certification programme for returning officers and assistant returning officers started at HCM Rajasthan Institute of Public Administration from Wednesday,” said Gupta.
Gupta said that through this training programme, returning and assistant returning officers were being given practical information about election procedures and related rules and regulations, so that the upcoming election works can be carried out better.
Gupta said resource persons of the commission include Pranav Singh, Raunak Bairagi, Sayyid Nasir, Rajesh Ranjan Verma, Vivek Rai, Sunil Sharma and Kapil Sharma.
