India-Australia Cricket Match: 2 arrested for betting on India-Australia cricket match, seize Rs 17 lakh in Rajasthan’s Tonk | Jaipur News

NOIDA: Tonk police on Wednesday arrested two men for betting on the ongoing India-Australia cricket match.
The police raided a house in Pily Talai area of Tonk and seized Rs 17 lakh in betting slips from the accused. They also recovered Rs 1.16 lakh in cash, electronic betting equipment, and six mobile phones.
The accused, identified as Shoaib, a resident of Kabra Road, Tonk, and Rajendra, a resident of Purani Tonk, were allegedly running a betting racket from the house.
In a separate raid, police arrested four men for gambling at another location in Tonk. They recovered Rs 47,000 from the accused.
Police are interrogating the accused to find out more about the betting racket.
