Kajol recently opened up about her parenting style and shared some tips about how she and her husband Ajay Devgn have allowed their kids Yug and Nysa to make their own choices while pursuing their individual interests.
During her appearance on the Soul Safar with Bhaav show, Kajol said that it is important for parents to be a friend and confidant to their children as they moved ahead in life.She said that both her children are not afraid to try new things or pursue their unique interests because they know that ‘Mom’s got our backs’. And she assures them, “Yes, I’ve got your back. Don’t worry about it.”
She credited her mother and veteran actress Tanuja for her upbringing and instilling her beliefs of accepting everything and everyone without any judgment or bias. “My mother had this uncanny ability to accept pretty much everything around her. I don’t think she ever gave us a basis for any kind of -ism. Whether it had to do with colour, gender, or whatever. Mine was one of the most amazingly forward-thinking upbringings. We grew up with the fact that everything was okay. Everything was a norm,” she said.Kajol feels that every person in this world should have the freedom to their lives according to their own choices as long as you are not hurting somebody or doing something horrible.
On the work front, Kajol was last seen as Devyani in Lust Stories 2. She also starred in The Trial: Pyaar Kaanoon Dhokha, a legal drama. She next has Sarzameen and Do Patti in the pipeline.
