JAIPUR: Prominent Muslims should actively denounce the murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, said Sunil Ambekar, Akil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) , while addressing the media on the concluding day of the three-day RSS meet in Jhunjhunu. The RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also attended the event.
“Ours is a democratic country. If anyone doesn’t like something, he or she can protest and demonstrate democratically. The Hindu community is angry and registering its protest peacefully everywhere in the country over the incident in Udaipur. RSS has been promoting peace and harmony,” said Ambekar while responding to a question about the killing in Udaipur.
He further added that the Muslim community should slam and criticise such kind of ghastly acts univocally.
“Some intelligentsia in the community have denounced it but I must tell the prominent Muslims should come forward to denounce the act as much as they can. Everyone has to come together and denounce it which is in the interest of the nation,” said Ambekar. TNN
