CM Ashok Gehlot: ‘red Diary’ Against Cm To Be Released Soon, Says Gudha | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: Former Rajasthan minister Rajendra Singh Gudha, who was sacked from his position this July, announced Saturday his intention to release soon the so-called “red diary” that he alleges contains incriminating information about CM Ashok Gehlot’s “underhand dealings” during the political crisis in 2020 and details related to the Rajya Sabha and RCA elections. He asserted that these revelations would land Gehlot in jail.
Speaking to reporters in his Udaipurwati constituency, Gudha referred to Gehlot as a “narbhakshi” (cannibal) who, according to him, has ended the political careers of numerous politicians, including Balram Jakhar, the Mirdha family, Natwar Singh, Sis Ram Ola, Khet Singh Rathore, Haridev Joshi, Naval Kishore Sharma, and others.
Gudha alleged that Gehlot was pursuing a vendetta against him, citing numerous cases being registered against him. Responding to questions about whether Gehlot is targeting him, Gudha said he would put the “last nail in Gehlot’s coffin”.
Gudha criticised Gehlot’s leadership, stating that the people of Udaipurwati were suffering from a water shortage and proclaiming that there is no one more “nikamma” (useless) in Rajasthan than the CM.
Gudha said he is still a Congress MLA and dared the party to expel him for his open public attacks against the CM. This contradicts his previous public appearance in September where he hinted at joining Shiv Sena in the presence of Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde.
Gudha was the minister of state for Sainik Kalyan, home guard and civil defence, Panchayati Raj, and rural development before he was dismissed for criticising the Gehlot government’s handling of law and order and women’s safety during the July assembly session when Congress members raised concerns about the parading of naked women in strife-torn Manipur.
He has alleged that the “red diary” contains details of transactions made to independent MLAs and certain BJP legislators during the political crisis triggered by former deputy CM Sachin Pilot’s rebellion and the subsequent Rajya Sabha elections in 2020. According to Gudha, the diary also contains information on transactions related to Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) elections of October 2019, in which CM Gehlot’s son Vaibhav Gehlot was a candidate for the president’s post. Although the MLA has yet to release the “red diary”, it has since become a political weapon for the opposition BJP to attack Gehlot, with even PM Narendra Modi mentioning it at his rallies in the poll-bound state.
