Shah Rukh Khan drops new love song ‘O Maahi’ from ‘Dunki’, fans compare it to ‘Dil Se’ – WATCH | Hindi Movie News
Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of ‘Dunki‘ after the stupendous success of ‘Jawan’ and ‘Pathaan’ this year. The actor is riding on the success of two movies this year which have crossed Rs 1000 crore mark each at the worldwide box office. Hence, the wait for ‘Dunki’ is more and so are the expectations.
SRK unveiled another Drop from ‘Dunki’ which is a romantic track with Taapsee Pannu.It’s called ‘O Maahi’. While sharing this song, Shah Rukh also reveals the meaning of ‘Dunki’. He wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Sab poochte hain Iss liye bata raha hoon. Dunki ka matlab hota hai apno se door rehna….aur jab apne paas ho toh bas lagta hai qayamat tak uske saath hi rahein. O Maahi O Maahi. Feel the love before sun sets on the horizon today.”
He dropped the track and wrote further, “Love, ishq, mohabbat, pyaar…yeh sabka izhaar karne mein hum waqt laga dete hain. Sometimes we don’t get the chance. Sometimes we don’t find the words. This song is dedicated to all the lovers who feel like this…So say it Now…Today…Tomorrow, and Everyday…” Mere Ishq pe Haq hua tera…Lo mein qayamat tak hua tera…” with this song. Make this your love song…my lover friends.”
The romantic number sees SRK and Taapsee’s love amidst the sands and the desert as he is all protective of his lady love. This reminds fans of ‘Dil Se‘ as they drew parallels between the visuals of the two songs. See here:
