Jaipur: The parents of a 16-year-old boy have said that he went missing from his home in a village under Ranoli police station of Sikar district.
They said in the missing complaint lodged with police that the boy took two mobile phones with him.
Police ruled out the possibility of abduction and said they were searching for the boy, Amandeep, with the help of the mobile call detail record. His father told police on Friday that he was missing since early Thursday morning.
“The parents said in their complaint that two mobile phones had also gone missing from their house. The father called up on one of the numbers and managed to speak to his son once. It appears that the boy left home due to a sudden bout of anger with his parents. We are trying our best to find him,” said Ranoli police station SHO Prakash Chand on Saturday.
Police have sought the mobile call detail record of the two phones.
“Prima facie it appears the boy went out on his own will. It does not appear to be a case of kidnapping. We have got some clues on his whereabouts,”said an officer.
