Students Stir Over Bad Marking In Ma Public Admin Exam | Jaipur News
Jaipur: Around 45 students of University of Rajasthan protested outside the vice-chancellor’s office on Monday alleging that 70% of them failed in subjects like administrative theories and management paper in Public Administration (MA) because of faulty marking. The results were declared on July 1.
Mohit Yadav, a first-year student of MA Public Administration said, “There are 140 students who opted for the subject, of which 80% failed. They got either zero or 4-5 marks out of 100. Only 10-12 students passed securing above 60% while the rest got below average marks.”
A UPSC mains aspirant who is a student of MA first year also got zero. “It’s shocking as other students who took my help to prepare for the exam scored more than me,” she said.
VC Rajeev Jain said, “We will look into the matter. I will ask the department concerned to re-evaluate the answer copies randomly to gauge whether it’s the evaluator’s fault or a technical error that occurred while uploading the marks on the website. We will resolve the matter within two weeks.”
