Ladies’ International Polo Match Today | Jaipur News
Jaipur: The first-ever ladies’ international polo match in the country will be played at the Rajasthan Polo Club here on Saturday. Even though ladies’ polo has been a regular feature of the Jaipur polo season since the past few years, this is the first time that it will see international participation.
Talking about the match, Padmanabh Singh said, “Looking at the success of the match and huge enthusiasm last year, the ladies’ polo is being held once again. This time it has been taken up a notch by including international players. The idea is to encourage women to increasingly take up the game of horse polo.”
The match will be played between Team PDKF India which will include- Rajvi Sen, Shivangi Singh, Vijayshree Shaktawat and Sanjhula Mann, and Team Polofactory International which will have Hannah Powlesland and Caroline Giles from United Kingdom, Valerie Van Lagenhove from Belgium and Monique Van Haarst from Netherlands.
The game is being supported by the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation. tnn
