MP assembly polls: 2489 candidates file nomination papers across state on last day
A total of 2,489 candidates have submitted 2,811 nomination papers for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh assembly polls. On the last day of nomination, 121 candidates from seven assembly constituencies in the state capital Bhopal filed their nomination papers. The nomination papers will be scrutinized on October 31, and the last date for withdrawal of nomination is November 2. The state is set to hold elections on November 17, with counting of votes scheduled for December 3.
