Police Crack: Police Crack Bundi Woman’s Murder Case, One Arrested | Jaipur News

Kota: Solving the blind murder of a 35-year-old widow who was found dead in her house in Lakheri town of Bundi district four days ago, police on Tuesday arrested a man, who is her distant relative. He confessed committing the crime to avenge humiliation.

Bundi SP Jai Yadav said, Banti (26), a resident of Parampura Jaithal under Gendoli police station in Bundi district, was on Tuesday arrested in connection with murder of Rajabai Gurjar (35), a resident of Subash Nagar in Lakheri town.
She was found murdered in her house on Friday morning last week, he added.

The deceased woman was native of nearby Karwar village and after death of her husband, she was living alone in Lakheri and worked as wage labourer at kiln furnace.
An SIT formed to solve the blind murder inquired around 200 people in the area and examined CCTV footages.
They found that a few days ago, a scuffle reportedly erupted among three people in which the woman had pushed a man out of her house, he said.
In order avenge humilation by the deceased woman, Banti decided to murder her and looked for a suitable opportunity, he added.
Police arrested Banti under sections 302, 457 and 458 of IPC and further investigation in the matter was underway, the SP said.
