21-Year-Old: 21-year-old Held, Minor Detained For Killing Driver | Jaipur News
Jaipur: A 21-year-old man was arrested and a minor was detained on Monday in the murder case of a 47-year-old cab driver, Chand Meena, and stealing of his cab.
Police said that the suspects in the case had previously made an unsuccessful attempt to kill Meena in the previous month.
DCP (South) Yogesh Goyal told TOI that police have detained a 17-year-old minor and arrested Ajay Meena (21) for the murder.
He mentioned that the initial investigation revealed that the suspects had booked Meena’s cab through an online app last month. However, they became aware that their location could be easily traced. “Subsequently, they abandoned their initial plans and instead used the same cab to travel to a temple in Sawai Madhopur,” Goyal said.
