Man Beaten To Death In Baran, 12 Booked | Jaipur News

Kota: A 70-year-old man sleeping in his agricultural field at Kherkheda village under Baran district’s Chabra police station was beaten to death in the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. Police booked nearly a dozen locals for the murder. The blood-stained body of Kanhaiyalal Meena alias Kanhi was found in his hut in an agriculture field, said Chabra police station SHO Nekiram. “There was a fatal head injury on the body, suggesting that he was smacked with some heavy stone. He was seen alive till Wednesday evening. He lived separately from the family of his sons,” he added.
Police handed over Kanhi’s body to his family members on Thursday morning after an autopsy. Based on an FIR lodged by his family members, police have booked nearly a dozen people of the village. tnn
