Lok Sabha Elections: Bjp Getting Desperate In Face Of Certain Loss: Dotasra | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Congress’s state president Govind Singh Dotasra on Monday claimed that the BJP had accepted defeat even before the assembly elections and was now focusing on trying to save its government at the centre in 2024.
He said the BJP was fielding its MPs in the assembly polls as there was anti-incumbency against them and the party wanted to put up new candidates in the Lok Sabha elections.
Speaking to the media at the airport here before leaving for Baran, Dotasra said that the BJP had been bogged down by rebellion after releasing its first list of candidates. He said the party’s desperation could be seen from the fact that it had given tickets to 9 rebels from the last elections.
On his own party’s first list of candidates, he said that the central election committee meeting of the Congress was scheduled on October 18 and the list could come out anytime after that.
He said the Modi government was scared of losing power and had unleashed “Income Tax and ED terror” to vitiate the political atmosphere with propaganda of corruption in Rajasthan. That was why, he said, the ED and I-T were not disclosing what they had unearthed after a series of raids and searches in the state.
