Jaipur: A state-level road safety war room was inaugurated by Rajasthan transport commissioner at the state secretariat on Wednesday. The war room aims to provide immediate help to victims of accidents.
Transport commissioner Kanhaiya Lal Swami said, “This road safety war room will act as a helpline to accident victims as calls received on the emergency number 112 or 100 will be transferred here from different divisions who will monitor the help and assistance that the victim gets. The war room will be fully functional by the end of this week with complete staff being deployed.”
