Social Security: Guv Urged To Sign Bills On Social Security | Jaipur News

Jaipur: A four-member delegation led by social activist Aruna Roy on Thursday met Governor Kalraj Mishra to urge him to sign the Rajasthan Minimum Guaranteed Income Bill, 2023, and the Rajasthan Platform Based Gig Workers (Registration and Welfare) bill, which were passed by the state assembly in July. Mishra assured them that he would take appropriate action on the bills soon.
The other members of the delegation—under the banner Soochna Evam Rozgar Adhikar Abhiyan—included Kavita Srivastava, Rakshita Swami, and Mukesh Nirvasit.
“It has been one-and-a-half months since the two bills were passed by the state assembly, but both the bills have not been signed by the Governor,” said the activists.
