Heroin Worth ₹5cr Seized, 4 Arrested | Jaipur News

Jaisalmer: Police arrested 4 smugglers and seized 1.5kg heroin worth Rs 5 crore in the international market, from a field in the border area adjoining Raisinghnagar in Sriganganagar.
The smugglers were caught when they were trying to take away the buried consignment from across the border.
Sriganganagar SP Paris Deshmukh said that Operation Flush Out is being run against criminals involved in medicated narcotics and its smuggling. On Monday, 4 smugglers were arrested while carrying 1.5kg heroin on a motorcycle near 19 PTD turn in Raisinghnagar area.
He said that this consignment had been sent from Pakistan.
These four persons are residents of Baruwala, identified as Dilip Kumar (46), Rajiv Kumar (35), Chindrapal Singh (44) and Rajpal (36). Police also seized the motorcycle. Three cases are registered against Rajpal in Raisinghnagar police station.
SP said the smugglers had sold some part of it earlier and the remaining 1.5kg has been recovered. Police have registered a case under NDPS act and investigation is underway.
