Rajasthan: High security for teachers’ recruitment exams in 11 districts | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The school teacher direct recruitment examination will begin under heavy security cover in 11 districts from Saturday.
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) will organise the exams in two shifts – 9.30am to 12.30pm and 3pm to 5.30pm – till March 1.
The board said most of the centres have been designated in the district headquarters for increased monitoring. These exams will recruit teachers for primary (level 1) and higher primary (level 2) schoolteachers.
Over 3 lakh aspirants will write the exams at 187 centres in Jaipur, including 68 government schools and 119 private educational institutes.
The officials said strict instructions were issued to keep a close vigil on all strongrooms and test centres.
“All strongrooms will be kept under CCTV surveillance,” the official said, adding that 187 centre in-charges and nearly 56 paper coordinators in Jaipur will be part of examination security.
The board will deploy over 300 invigilators to keep a check on suspicious students. “The chief secretary (CS) recently held a meeting with all district SPs and collectors to ensure that the exam process remains secure,” said an official. Taking into account past paper leaks and cheating incidents in recruitment exams, police said they are keeping a close eye on miscreants.
“There are a lot of people who often peddle stories of paper leaks immediately after the exams are over. We will ensure that such miscreants do not mislead students this time,” said an official.
