Rajasthan Assembly: 8th Session Of 15th State Assembly Adjourned Sine Die | Jaipur News

Jaipur: Governor Kalraj Mishra on Monday adjourned the eighth session of the fifteenth Rajasthan Assembly sine die.
According to an official statement, “In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-clause (a) of clause (2) of Article 174 of the Constitution, the Governor adjourned the eighth session of the fifteenth Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Monday sine die.”
A total of 30 meetings were held in this eighth session of the assembly which began on January 23. pti

Key BJP meet today to finalise candidates for Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh assembly elections
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to hold a Central Election Committee meeting to finalize candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, national president JP Nadda, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be among the key leaders attending the meeting. Around 60 to 70 candidates for Rajasthan and 31 candidates for Chhattisgarh will be discussed and approved. The BJP is currently fine-tuning its strategies for the upcoming elections in these states.

HA Kiran has been elected as a director of the Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry. A four-day astronomy workshop will be held in Mysuru, and a student from Vijaya Vittala Vidyashala won first prize in a district-level science exhibition. There will be drama performances and Yakshagana at various venues in Mysuru. The Belagavi-Mysuru Express train has been extended to Belagavi, and protests continue over the release of Cauvery water. Races are being held in Mysuru, and a jeweler has created gold-plated rose garlands for Lord Ganesha idols.
