Med Bond Norms Get Stricter, 12 Candidates’ Forms Incomplete | Jaipur News
Since the state government has started implementing the conditions of a bond strictly from 2022, the work of scrutinising a bond filled by the selected candidate for PG courses has also become strict from the current academic session.

After scrutiny, the health department released a list of 12 candidates who have not filled their bonds properly, due to which the health department has directed them to fill the bond forms properly so that they can be granted study leaves.
The health department has found that some of the bond forms were incomplete, while some do not have proper signs and addresses of the witnesses.
A health department official said incomplete bonds are not acceptable.
Besides, the medical education department has released a revised list of candidates, who passed out in 2022 from medical colleges after completing their PG courses. Earlier, the list had names of 417 candidates, which has now been revised to 659 candidates. These candidates will have to serve the state government for two years to fullfil the conditions of bond, or they will have to pay Rs 25 lakh for not doing the state government service for two years.
Theses candidates will work as senior resident, demographer and assistant professor. Some of the in-service doctors (those MBBS doctors who are in government service and have also completed their PG in 2022) are confused over their chances of getting posting as senior residentship in medical colleges. “Medical education department has released a list of 659 non-service candidates (those MBBS doctors who were not in govt service and completed their PG in 2022). They have been asked to fill their choices for senior residentship. Since one year of senior residentship is mandatory for getting post of assistant professor, we are confused now, if we will get a chance of doing senior residentship as the medical education department has released the list of only non-service candidates asking them to fill the forms for senior residentship,” said Dr Mukesh Meel, an in-service doctor who has completed his PG in obstetrics and gyneacology from Kota medical college in 2022 and got the posting now at a community health centres in Banswara district.
The in-service candidates demanded that the government clarify how to apply if they wanted senior residentship. Since the government is strictly following medical bond conditions from this year, it has issued the list of only non-service doctors for senior residentship posts.
