In a new interview to a news portal, the global star opened up about eliminating politics and drama and creating a positive workplace environment for outsiders who wish to make it big in the Hindi film industry.
Priyanka acknowledged the fact that the industry has witnessed a significant change in the past 5-10 years. New talents are coming outside the industry, which was not the case when she had first started. She said that there should be conversations around opportunity and workplace and casting should be merit based and no camps should rule casting.

She credited her generation of actors who fought for it because of which the Hindi film industry has undergone drastic change in its functionality.
Priyanka is all set to headline the international series Citadel. The Russo Brothers approached she with the idea of Citadel five years ago. It was shot for over a year and a half during the pandemic. It will premiere on April 28.
