Childless Couple Arrested For Kidnapping Dausa Girl | Jaipur News
Jaipur: A four-year-old girl, who was kidnapped from a wedding ceremony in Hingotia village under Sadar police station area in Dausa on Tuesday, was rescued in Jaipur on Wednesday. Police arrested a couple, identified as Kuldeep (28) and Ridhi Devi (27), both residents of Mainpuri in Uttar Pradesh, for allegedly kidnapping the girl.
The police team that reached the marriage venue to investigate found that a couple was missing at the function. “With the help of photographers and others, we managed to get their pictures and also their mobile numbers,” said a police officer of Sadar police station.
The police managed to speak to the couple but they kept misleading about on their location. “Their call records revealed that they were in Jaipur,” the officer said. The arrested couple confessed that they were childless for the past five years and during the wedding when they saw the girl, they thought of kidnapping her and keeping her as their daughter. TNN
