Rajasthan University: 3 Invigilators Arrested For Leaking Ba Question Paper | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The Jaipur (Rural) police arrested three private invigilators for allegedly sharing photos on social media of Geography question paper of BA exam of Rajasthan University before the exam.
Kaladera police station house officer (SHO) Harbinder Singh said that police arrested Babu Manjeet Singh, 21, Vikram Kumar, 23, and Jitendra Kumar, 23, for allegedly sharing the question paper before the exam.
“The three accused were hired as invigilators for the ongoing university exams but they shared the question papers on social media on Saturday,” Singh said.
Police said that the accused were enlisted as invigilators in a government college in Kaladera. “There are norms wherein if there is a dearth of teachers to conduct exams, colleges can hire invigilators. There are some education rules for a person to be hired as an invigilator,” an official said.
The incident came to light when some people spotted the BA question paper for the university exam on social media.
“We are trying to find who were the people who asked the accused to leak the paper before the exam,” said an officer.
As per the police, the college’s assistant professor had filed a case against the accused on Saturday.
“We are also trying to see if the accused had taken money to provide the BA paper. The WhatsApp group on which the question paper was first shared is also being examined,” an officer said.
