Cong Leaders Give A Miss To Raj In-charge Randhawa’s Meeting | Jaipur News
JAIPUR: The absence of Congress leaders, including senior ministers and MLAs, at the party’s Jaipur divisional level meeting attended by AICC in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra raised eyebrows on Saturday.
The meeting was convened to discuss the “Hath se Hath Jodo” campaign. Dotasra after the meeting said the party would seek an explanation from leaders who remained absent without prior intimation.
Expressing anger on the absence of leaders, Dotasra said, “When Rahul Gandhi can walk 3,800 kilometre to connect the country, then it is our duty to follow his footsteps and go to the people. Every Congress leader and worker who has to contest elections will have to actively participate in the programmes of the party organisation and have to go to the public,” he said.
Earlier also, Randhawa expressed his displeasure over the absence of party leaders missing meetings and asked the leaders to take party meetings seriously. But despite the warning, the leaders, including senior ministers and MLAs, give it a miss. It includes the district president (Jaipur rural) and minister Rajendra Yadav.
