नई दिल्ली. इंग्लैंड को हराकर अफगानिस्तान ने यह साबित कर दिया है कि वह दुनिया की खतरनाक टीमों में क्यों गिनी जाती है. बुधवार को उन्होंने इंग्लैंड को 8 रन से हराया. अब उनकी नजर सेमीफाइनल में पहुंचने पर है. सेमीफाइनल में पहुंचने के लिए उन्हें ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ मुकाबला जीतना होगा. साल 2024 के टी20 विश्व कप में उन्होंने ऑस्ट्रेलिया को सुपर 8 में 21 रन से हराया था. कुछ ऐसा ही अफगानिस्तान को दोबारा करना होगा.

टी20 विश्व कप 2024 में 23 जून को एक ऐसा मुकाबला खेला गया था जिसे हमेशा याद रखा जाएगा. ऑस्ट्रेलिया की टीम के खिलाफ अफगानिस्तान की टीम ने ऐतिहासिक जीत दर्ज की थी. अफगान टीम ने ओपनर रहमानुल्लाह गुरबाज और इब्राहिम जादरान शतकीय साझेदारी के दम पर 6 विकेट पर 148 रन का स्कोर खड़ा किया. ऑस्ट्रेलिया की टीम गुलबदीन नईब की घातक गेंदबाजी के आगे महज 127 रन पर ही ढेर हो गई थी.

अगर अफगानिस्तान ऑस्ट्रेलिया को अगले मैच में हरा देता है तो वह ग्रुप बी के प्वाइंट टेबल में दूसरे स्थान पर आ जाएंगे क्योंकि साउथ अफ्रीका का नेट रन काफी ज्यादा है. ग्रुप ए से भारत ने टूर्नामेंट में दो जीत के साथ पहले ही सेमीफाइनल में जगह बना ली है. जबकि न्यूजीलैंड ने भी क्वालीफाई कर लिया है. दोनों टीमों के बीच ग्रुप ए का अंतिम मैच यह तय करेगा कि ग्रुप में पहले स्थान पर कौन रहेगा. 2 मार्च को ये दोनों टीमें आमने सामने होगी.

अगर भारत पहले स्थान पर रहता है तो वह सेमीफाइनल ग्रुप बी की दूसरे नंबर पर रहने वाली टीम से भिड़ेगा. यानी अगर अफगानिस्तान ग्रुप बी में दूसरे और भारत ग्रुप ए में पहले स्थान पर रहा तो दोनों टीम के बीच सेमीफाइनल मैच होगा. वहीं, न्यूजीलैंड की टीम अगर ग्रुप ए में दूसरे और साउथ अफ्रीका की टीम ग्रुप बी में पहले स्थान पर रहती है तो इन दोनों के बीच सेमीफाइनल होगा.

अगर ऑस्ट्रेलिया और दक्षिण अफ्रीका दोनों अपने-अपने मैच जीतते हैं और भारत न्यूजीलैंड को हरा देता है तो रोहित शर्मा की अगुआई वाली टीम मंगलवार को ऑस्ट्रेलिया से भिड़ सकती है. क्योंकि ऑस्ट्रेलिया का नेट रन रेट साउथ अफ्रीका से कम है और वह जीत के बाद भी दूसरे स्थान पर रहेंगे. सेमीफाइनल तक पहुंचने के लिए उन्हें अफगानिस्तान को भी हराना है.
