Paper Leak: ₹20l Hidden In Pot By Accused Recovered | Jaipur News

Jaipur: The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Rajasthan police on Saturday recovered Rs 19.5 lakh which an accused in senior teacher paper leak case, Anil Kumar alias Sher Singh, had buried in a pot in Jhunjhunu.
The amount was recovered from the ancestral house of Anita Meena, an alleged aide of Anil.
Anil was posted as a government school vice-principal before his suspension. He was wanted in the RPSC senior teacher recruitment examination question paper leak and was nabbed from Odisha by SOG on April 6.
Rajasthan police had announced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for information on Anil leading to his arrest. A native of Kaladera in Chomu town near Jaipur, he is suspected to have provided the question paper to kingpins Bhupendra Saran and Suresh Dhaka before the exam, which led to the cancellation of the exam in December last year. The accused was the vice-principal of a government school in Sirohi.
The exam, which was to be held on December 24, was cancelled after it was found that some students in Udaipur had received the paper before the exam. Police arrested over 50 persons, including students, and launched a manhunt to arrest Saran and Dhaka. While Saran was held in February from Bengaluru, both Dhaka and Meena were on the run.
Last week, the Udaipur police arrested Anil’s friend Anita, a banker, from Jaipur. TNN
