1.5k Dengue Cases In Raj In Past 2 Wks | Jaipur News

JAIPUR: The state has witnessed a sudden spike in dengue cases in the past two weeks (from Aug 30 to Sep 12), with 1,553 persons being tested positive.
In 14 days, Kota reported highest number of dengue cases with 355 persons tested positive for the vector-borne disease, followed by Jaipur (228), Hanumangarh (111), Jhunjhunu (83), Sikar (79), Barmer (75), Tonk (59), Sriganganagar (59) and Alwar (57). The state health department is taking measures to tackle the situation, including providing sufficient beds, test kits, and coordinating with local authorities for fogging and larvicide spray. Daily review meetings will also be held to monitor the situation.
