“The staff and all the records will be transferred to the respective districts immediately after the districts are notified. We have already got sanctions for the creation of new posts of officials/employees for all the districts. The districts will be made functional immediately after notifying them,” she said. “For new office buildings, allotment of lands has already been done in many districts. Till then, the departments would be made operational at the temporary locations,” she added.
Chief minister Ashok Gehlot will launch the new districts on Monday. The state cabinet on Friday approved formation of 19 new districts and three divisions and demarcated respective areas for the same. Rajasthan will now have a total of 50 districts and 10 divisional headquarters.
