Two Minor Boys Drown In Bundi | Jaipur News

Kota: Two minor boys, who are cousins, drowned in a pond in Bundi on Thursday. In another incident, a labourer swept away in Parvan river in Jhalawar.
The boys have been identified as Rajendra Bairwa and Koshalraj Bairwa.
According to circle inspector (Bundi Sadar police station) Arvind Bhardwaj, the mishap took place around 10-11AM when boys were taking bath along with some other children in a pond. Both went into deep water and gone missing. Other children informed their family, he said.
Bhardwaj said, Bundi city SDM Kartar Singh, DSP and Sadar police rushed to the spot and launched search operation with the villagers. The boys were fished out from the pond and rushed to Bundi district hospital where doctors declared them brought dead, he added. The police handed over the two bodies to family members after post-mortem.Similarly, a 23-year-old man, identified as Mahesh Panchal, resident of Sarola police station area swept away into flooding water of Parvan river while he was swimming across the river on Thursday.
Panchal worked as wielder in under-constructing tunnel near Parvan dam and would generally swim across the river to reach other side from the working site, Station House Officer (SHO) at Sarola police station, Dinesh Sharma said adding he was likely to have swept away by strong current of water due to rain into Parvan river. tnn
